Earlier we reported on the Richard White Racing Lumina and Monte Carlo being at the Adelaide Motorsport Festival, but they weren’t the only ones to be at the event.

Australian NASCAR champion Barry Graham was there to help put the #9 Ford Fusion through its paces, defending British Touring Car Championship champion Jake Hill also drove the car.

The Ford Fusion is the one that Marcos Ambrose won Cup races in and the finest race car builders in America made sure that it was 100% period correct.

Stephen Dale and Josh Dale were there in the #88 ex-Xfinity series Chevrolet and the #3 Chevrolet Silverado.

Josh Dale when asked about the #3 reported that it ‘went unreal no problems at all I got a flat tyre on the front left in the first run Sunday looking like i ran over something. other than that was perfect i got asked to do the Repco safari as well in the morning both days so had 3 runs both days.

Josh went on to say that he ‘couldn’t be happier with everything dad (Stephen) and Paul (Zemunik) did to have a car with no big issues with only one small run in Collie beforehand is pretty awesome

Paul Zemunik was there in his version of the #8 Monte Carlo; Zac O’Hara drove this Monte Carlo in one of the sessions, this car and Paul were at the 2023 round at Calder Park Raceway.

Zac said that driving the car was ‘Great fun!. Very similar to 27‘, the 27 is the #27 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that Zac owns.

Kane Fritzle was there in the one and only Pontiac Monaro, this car was a glimpse of a future that Australian Stock Car racing didn’t get to have past the Bob Jane era, but now we are treated to seeing this car regularly.

The #9 Chevrolet formerly driven by Chase Elliott was there too, looking great alongside the #88 and right behind them is the #33 Lumina that Trevor Oliver used to drive on the Thunderdome, it had some pre-Adelaide problems that needed overcoming to get to the event.

With 9 vehicles being at Adelaide and 9 vehicles being at Winton on the same weekend, Australian Stock Car racing hasn’t been in this good health since 2002, and it is only going to get better.
