Coming up this weekend (August 29-30) is the third round of the 2026 Australian Stock Car Championship that is run by Stock Cars Australia.

This round takes place at Winton Motor Raceway and is part of the bill for the Winton 300, admission is free for spectators so if you’re near Winton, please consider going.

Not counting Friday practice, which is a separate option, the event comprises of one qualifying session at 11:35am followed by Race 1 at 1:05pm and Race 2 at 2:55pm.

Sunday has Race 3 is at 10:45am followed by Race 4 at Noon, an early completion of the day as the Winton 300 takes up the rest of the afternoon.

Good conditions are expected for the round with sunny days, and 18- and 19-degree days are currently expected.

There are three ways to watch the action, in person, being a paid member of Blend Line TV’s YouTube channel or being a paid subscriber to their website.

For YouTube, you go on their channel and select join and set up a way to pay for the subscription.

For the website, you create an account and set it all up, it is likely easier to establish an account on YouTube so you can take it anywhere.

The Field

Let’s take a look at the field for the round

Daniel Stubbs has had the perfect season so far, he has won all seven races of the season so far and he now has the chance to put his winning streak into double figures.

Richard White is behind the wheel of the #3 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, he has been tough competition for Jeff Stubbs but has been unable to get close to the #19 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, perhaps this round will be a different story with Jeff Stubbs out of action.

Eddie Ivermee is debuting his Oldsmobile Cutlass in this round, this car was previously in the hands of Ian Thomas, John Faulkner, Eddie Abelnica, Paul Stocker and Doug Moss from 1992 to the end of 2001.

Mick Heppleston is in the #304 Chevrolet Silverado; it has been a tough season for Mick though he is tougher, and he keeps showing up ready to roll no matter what challenge is thrown his way.

Robert Marchese is in the #84 Chevrolet Silverado, the #84 has consistently been towards the front the last few seasons and should any issues trouble the likes of Daniel Stubbs and Richard White or a sudden change of weather conditions, Robert will be there for the win.

The SCA AUSCAR field sees four in action with Duncan Brown making his first appearance in the #02 Ford Falcon, Duncan got some Winton experience in recently at the 2026 edition of the Winton Festival of Speed.

Troy Perichon is in the #6 Ford XF Falcon, the car always gets plenty of attention, and as the President of SCA AUSCAR, he will no doubt be happy with the four runners for this round and the season finale could deliver bigger numbers.

Brad Lighton is making his first appearance for the 2026 season; the #26 Holden Commodore got some good kilometres in at the Winton Festival of Speed.

Jamey Hollier is in the #71 Ford Falcon; Jamey is back behind the wheel after Alex Hollier had driven the car at the Winton Festival of Speed.

Sam Gibson makes his second appearance for the season in the Hyundai Excel; it is possible that he’ll be in a Dodge in the season finale at Calder Park.

Richard Hodgson is back in the Nissan Gazelle; we may get to see another thrilling contest between the Gazelle and the Excel like we had seen in the season opener at Sydney Motorsport Park.
