#1 Holden VT Commodore – David O’Hara/Zac O’Hara

David and Zac O’Hara will be sharing the #1 VT Commodore for the 2026 season; this car was unveiled at the 1999/00 season opener at Calder Park Thunderdome, but it did not get a chance to do any racing until 2019.
When Zac gets his turn at driving the car, it will be the first time he has done so on the track, he has been a passenger in the car during its Fastrack days but has only driven the car when he needed to move it.
#2 Holden Commodore – Colin Matton

Colin Matton has had great success with this ex-Jason Wyllie car including winning the 2024 SCA AUSCAR title.
2025 was a frustrating season for Colin, mechanical issues resulted in the #2 only being able to race at One Raceway where he picked up two seventh place finishes.
#3 Chevrolet Lumina –

This Chevrolet Lumina was Richard White Racing’s first Stock Car, it has been driven by Richard White, Jake Frisch and Sam Gibson with Sam driving it to two wins at Calder Park Raceway in 2025.
The driver of the car for the 2026 season opener will be Zac O’Hara.
This car previously served as a ride car for both Brad Jones and Kim Jane.
This car is strongly believed to be an ex-#31 Race Cars & Engines car that was raced in then Winston Cup competition before coming to Australia to be used as a car for NASTRAK.
#3 Chevrolet Camaro – Richard White

Two-time race winner Richard White has a new car for the 2026 season, and it is the ex-Hendrick Motorsports Camaro that has been given to the team by its owner for Richard to drive.
#6 Ford Falcon – Troy Perichon

This car has had a long and successful life; it finished second in the 1988 AUSCAR championship and after a couple of years was moved into Sportsman where it won a championship with Eddie Abelnica and then it was the #66 in Sportsman competition.
The #6 made its SCA debut in 2022 and its presence quickly drew in a following as other AUSCAR owners made plans to join SCA AUSCAR.
This car won the fourth race at Winton in 2025 after a Ford vs. Ford battle with Jamey Hollier.
#7 Chevrolet Silverado – Danny Burgess

The 2024 overall champion had an engine failure during Race 3 at The Bend which ended his 2025 season early, he was going well as he had fifth and fourth place finishes in the first two races of the round.
Danny is a four-time winner in the series, all four of them came in the final round of the 2024 season at One Raceway which was the perfect way to win a championship.
#8 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

This Monte Carlo started life in Winston Cup competition as the #60 driven by Geoff Bodine, it was then sold and moved into SCCA competition.
It was brought to Australia by Graham Booth; he started racing the car in 2013 and it made its Australian debut when Stock Cars Australia debuted at One Raceway.
Graham Booth later sold it to Aaron Hills who sold it on to Richard White, Richard’s first race in the car was at Calder Park Raceway in 2023.
The car has won two races at Calder Park Raceway, one each in 2024 and 2025.
The car is currently for sale and so it is likely that it won’t be seen racing for RWR in 2026.
#10 Chevrolet Silverado – Brendan O’Connor

Brendan O’Connor originally raced in Muscle Division driving the #10 Ford Falcon FG Ute before an opportunity arose to purchase the ex-#51 OzTruck that was driven to great success by Brendon Hourigan.
Brendan raced in the opening round of the 2025 season at Winton and qualified fourth and finished Race 1, 2 and 3 in fourth position.
#11 Holden Commodore – Damian Sullivan

Damien Sullivan has made a couple of appearances in the championship with a best place finish of seventh at One Raceway in 2024.
#19 Chevrolet Monte Carlo – Daniel Stubbs

The #19 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Daniel Stubbs was a championship contender all the way to Calder Park Raceway, a broken axle stopped the #19 in its tracks and Jeff Stubbs went on to win the championship.
Daniel is a high regarded driver; his skills were obvious when he hopped into the #45 Dodge for Race 4 at Calder Park Raceway in 2025; he started at the back of the field and finished the race in third.
#16 Ford Mustang – Scott Nind

Scott Nind won the 2024 Stock Car title in his ex-Roush Fenway Racing (now Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing) Mustang; he also has the #34 Mustang as another option.
This car was driven by Jack Perkins in last year’s round at The Bend.
#22 Holden Commodore – Lukas Gates

The 2025 season was an unlucky one for Lukas Gates, engine issues parked the #22 until the season finale at Calder Park Raceway, Lukas finished either fifth or sixth in all four races of the round.
#23 Oldsmobile Cutlass – Eddie Ivermee

This car has had a long career; it was originally driven by Ian Thomas in an ARCA race as the #14 before it was used in the 1992/93 season as the #23, it was then sold before the 1993/94 season to John Faulkner to be the oval version of the #46, it was sold a couple of seasons later to Eddie Abelnica who gave it the number nine.
Eddie Abelnica sold it to Paul Stocker who used it in the inaugural V8 Stock Cars round at Mallala as the #48 before Doug Moss took over the seat and drove it as the #6.
The car was used on the salt flats before a restoration effort was started, and it was purchased by Eddie Ivermee in late 2024 and he completed the restoration effort.
#25 Ford Thunderbird – Laurence Mckinnon

This car’s Australian history began when it was imported over to be the #21 driven by Morgan Shepherd, the car was then taken back to America before Terry Wyhoon brought it a few seasons later still looking like it did in December 1994, Terry ran the car before moving on to a Tom Smith built Thunderbird and this car then became Dick Howe’s second #11 after his first Thunderbird got trashed at Albert Park.
Dick Howe ran it until the 2002 V8 Stock Cars season and then it sat around until brought by Laurence and it made its Stock Cars Australia debut at Calder Park Raceway in 2023.
#26 Holden Commodore – Brad Lighton

Brad Lighton’s first Stock Cars Australia race was in 2023 when he had driven the #71 Ford Falcon in Race 4 at Calder Park Raceway.
Brad started driving the #26 in the 2024 season and ran in all four championship rounds in 2025.
#27 Chevrolet Monte Carlo – Zac O’Hara

This car has had a well-known past, it was the #5 of Max Dumesny when it was originally an Oldsmobile, it got given a Monte Carlo body for Max to drive and then it was driven by Kim Jane to championship success as the #27, it was then the #2 when it was owned by Rusty French in the V8 Stock Cars era before becoming the #27 again with Zac O’Hara.
The #27 last hit the racetrack in Race 4 at Calder Park Raceway in 2023, it was a late addition to the round after it was originally planned for the car to just do exhibition laps on the Thunderdome.
#34 Ford Mustang –

This car is an ex-Michael McDowell driven car from the time when he drove for Front Row Motorsports.
Scott Nind drives either the #16 or the #34 Mustang, it depends on a variety of reasons such as car availability and what car a second team driver uses should Scott have a teammate for the round.
Scott drove the #34 at The Bend last year when Jack Perkins drove the #16 Mustang.
#41 Ford Thunderbird – Phil Muffet

This car was an ex-Chad Little owned Ford Thunderbird before being purchased by Charlie O’Brien and it was given #15, he raced it with success until he sold it to Gene Cook who needed to replace his destroyed #41 Ford Falcon.
Gene won a race at the Thunderdome in the #41 and it was then used at Fastrack for many years before Mick Heppleston purchased it, Mick drove it for several years before selling it to Phil Muffet in 2025.
Gene named the car ‘Charlie’, and it has retained its name since, ‘Charlie’ and Phil Muffet taken victory in race 3 of the final round of the 2025 season at Calder Park Raceway.
#45 Dodge Challenger – Jeff Stubbs

Jeff Stubbs is the defending overall champion of the Australian Stock Car Championship; it was not easy for Jeff as he had to contend with the #19 driven by Daniel Stubbs all season long and only a mechanical issue with the #19 separated the two at Calder Park Raceway.
#54 Ford Falcon – Chris Robinson

This Ford Falcon was the last Sportsman to win a race on the Thunderdome when Chris Robinson won in April 1999, by the time the 1999/00 season came around, the field was mixed in with AUSCAR.
Chris’ best finish so far with Stock Cars Australia is 9th which was in Race 2 at Calder Park Raceway in 2024.
#63 Holden Torana – Dave Brien

Dave Brien made his series debut in 2025 in the non-championship round held at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Dave then went on to contest both the One Raceway and Calder Park Raceway rounds to close out the season.
Dave’s best finish was fifth place in Race 4 at Wakefield Park in 2025.
Don’t count out this Muscle Division runner, it has power where it counts.
#71 Ford Falcon – Jamey Hollier

This car was the #7 driven by Rodney Jane in AUSCAR before it ended up at One Raceway as a car for people to get their V8 fun with, it was then brought by Troy Perichon and it had made its SCA debut at Calder Park Raceway in 2023, the car was then sold to Jamey Hollier, and he was the SCA AUSCAR champion of 2025.
Jamey Hollier won ten races in Sportsman competition and helped build many of the cars that you have seen over the decades including some of the ones that you see on the track in the present day.
#84 Chevrolet Silverado – Robert Marchese

The #84 OzTruck has been quite a consistent OzTruck, DNF’s and non-appearances are rare and these factors helped Robert become the 2025 OzTruck Champion.
The #84 was an overall win contender in the 2025 season finale at Calder Park Raceway and was a chance to win Race 3 until a broken part forced the #84 back to the garage but had a great Race 4 to end the weekend on a high note.
#108 VT Commodore – Michael Rice

Michael Rice is the two-time defending champion of the Muscle Division category and is usually seen mixing it with the SCA AUSCARs and some of the OzTrucks as well.
Michael has picked up additional 2026 sponsorship from Baxter Motors who are located in Drouin, Victoria.
#304 Chevrolet Silverado – Mick Heppleston

Mick Heppleston has been with the series since 2019, he has driven a FJ Holden, a Ford Thunderbird and a Chevrolet Silverado over the years.
The #304 has seen a lot of action, it was originally a competitor in the OzTrucks category before it had joined Stock Cars Australia, the OzTruck itself is numbered AU-304.
