Round 5 – Calder Park Raceway

Every now and then, a championship is decided by mechanical failure, unfortunately for Daniel Stubbs, his championship hopes ended as his #19 Monte Carlo came to a stop just after leaving the garage.

Race 3 was held the next day and the #45 was looking brand new, Jeff had to start from the rear of the field, he picked off the field one by one to climb to second position as the track dried out, Sam Gibson got by Jeff late in the race and Jeff finished in third.

The third race was Jeff’s last race in the #45 for the 2025 season, he handed the car over to Daniel Stubbs for Race 4, Daniel drove the car from the back of the pack to third position at the chequered flag in conditions that were the best all weekend.

Shortly after Race 4, the trophies were handed out and the big trophy plus one at the back was Jeff’s.

Jeff won six of the races for the season, the most of all drivers in 2025.

That is the story of Jeff Stubbs championship winning journey from the beginning to the end.
