The fourth round of the 2025 Australian Stock Car Championship season heads to One Raceway this weekend.
Thirteen drivers and their vehicles will be in action with plenty to see on and off the track.
Jeff Stubbs (#45 Dodge Challenger) leads the Stock Cars category by four points over Daniel Stubbs (#19 Chevrolet Monte Carlo).
Richard White (#08 Chevrolet Monte Carlo) and Phil Muffet (#41 Ford Thunderbird) will jump up the leaderboard by the end of the weekend as Scott Nind and Jack Perkins will not be at One Raceway.
It will be very interesting to see what pace Phil Muffet has in the Ford Thunderbird compared to Richard White’s #08 Monte Carlo and Daniel Stubbs’ #19 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
Phil will be without his crew chief Elliot Barbour who will be busy at Queensland Raceway in a TA2, expect a steady progression in speed from the #41 Ford Thunderbird.
In SCA AUSCAR, Jamey Hollier has a handy points lead over Brad Lighton, but Brad can make inroads if he stays ahead of the #71 Ford Falcon for most if not all the weekend and make Calder Park an interesting finale.
Brad Lighton (#26 Holden Commodore), Michael Rice (#108 Holden Commodore) and Jamey Hollier (#71 Holden Commodore) are likely to be hanging around each other all weekend long as it is usually the case when all three of them are on the track.
OzTruck fans will have Robert Marchese (#84 Chevrolet Silverado) and Mick Heppleston (#304 Chevrolet Silverado) on track, Robert leads Mick by just six points in the OzTruck championship battle.
Barry Kelleher will likely be mixing it up for the overall lead, this was evident at Sydney Motorsport Park just a couple of weeks ago when the #31 Mustang was hanging around the #8 OzTruck all weekend.
Dave Brien will be running in the #62 Torana, it is Dave’s second race in the series after debuting at the non-championship round at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Laurence Mckinnon will be competing in his first round of the season when he races his #82 Ford XE Falcon, Laurence was the thirteenth and last entry for the round.
Race Times and Broadcasting
Saturday’s action starts with Qualifying taking place at 10:15am followed by Race 1 at 1:29pm and then Race 2 is the last race of the day at 4:38pm.
It is an early start on Sunday with Race 3 taking place at 9:30am and Race 4 takes place at 12:20pm.
Race 1 and 2 will run for 15 minutes apiece and Race 3 and 4 will run for 17 minutes apiece.
Blend Line TV is broadcasting the race weekend at One Raceway, the coverage is on the premium level so you do have to pay to see all the action as it happens.
It is understandable that it is on premium, it does cost money to broadcast a race event from commentators to crew to the high amount of internet needed.
It appears that Races 1, 2 and 4 are going to be broadcasted according to the Blend Line TV website, Race 3 is before the Sunday broadcast time of 10:30am.
Weather
Make sure you are wearing winter clothing as the temperatures are expected to be 9 and 8 degrees for the weekend, there is the possibility of rain from around the time Race 4 is run and completed.
