There are 65 days to go until Round 3 is held at Sydney Motorsport Park on July 20, this round is a one-day event and will be on the GP circuit, current details suggest that all racing should be wrapped up by 4:30pm, keep an eye on this page for more details.
Check out the above post by the AASA, it is always good to see such posts on Facebook, and it promotes the next round too, Noah Thorley takes great photos, it always something to look forward to seeing after a round.
Roy Ellery last weekend released a fifteen-minute video of the action at The Bend, see all of the field in great detail in footage that was taken throughout the four races held that weekend.
If you want to see footage of Jeff Stubbs in action at The Bend, you can thanks to the three videos that were uploaded on his YouTube channel, the above is from Race 3 and there are some wild moments in this one so if you have got a spare 20 minutes, do check it out and then see the others.
In case you missed it, it has been discovered that the left front lower control arm on Eddie Ivermee’s Oldsmobile was built for the Mark Martin Ford Thunderbird chassis JR17.
We still have no idea what TB stands for on right front lower control arm, maybe somebody who reads this does.

There is one new addition to the #46 Oldsmobile, a nice, new radiator, it is all coming together but as we all know, it is easier to gather items up than it is to assemble it all together.
Most Wanted

We are looking for anybody who may know this ex-Brad Jones, ex-Kim Jane ride car and can prove where the car came from before Brad Jones, we have two different opinions, one is that it came from George Elliot (he isn’t sure about that) and the other is it came from Walter Giles (Giles family doesn’t believe that).
One thought is that the car was a Buick before being reskinned to a Lumina and then went on its merry way from Walter to (then George? then) Brad etc. the problem is that most of the body appears to be Oldsmobile, the rear bumper certainly is.

The right side 3/4 window is considered key, it looks very similar to the right 3/4 window of the Ron Goodman #05 Oldsmobile at the Gold Coast in 1992 as it doesn’t look very Oldsmobile like, but we have found no similar and clear photo of the #05 Oldsmobile’s right side to accurately compare the two.
Somebody out there has to know for sure, Brad Jones getting a ride car had to be a pretty big deal as he only had ‘Elroy’ on hand early on, plus a ride car is a nice way to get more Stock Car laps in too.
That’s it for this week’s edition of Aussie Stock Car News, we hope you enjoyed this news and remember if you want something posted, just say so.
See you next week.
