There are 56 days to go until the 2025 season gets underway, it is nice to be under 60 days to go.
The #22 AUSCAR now has its own Facebook page, it is called 22 AUSCAR and the link will take you there, give it a like to help build it up.
They also have Instagram so you can see what is going on there as well, it is good to see teams having pages and other social media accounts, it helps spread the word about Stock Cars Australia and draws in curiosity.
#31 AUSCAR is still one follower away from making it to 50 members, will one of our readers be that person?
Botheras Family Racing AUSCAR Adventure has reached 400 members, the wiring of the car is all sorted and we may hear it running this weekend.
Preparations continue for the #46 Oldsmobile, there are just under ten months to go until Calder Park, we look forward to following the build process.
Now to the research that has been conducted this week

If your Stock Car (saying NASCAR is acceptable) has Race Cars & Engines on a plate, you have a Bob Clark Motorsports car, a number of BCM cars were brought by NASTRAK after the team stopped racing in May 1989.
The #3 Pontiac that Adam Blattman has and a Pontiac that Zac O’Hara has are both from the team.
What’s more is that the Pontiac that Zac has was used by George Elliot at least once as the Pennzoil sponsored #55 Pontiac, some parts of the car retain the Pennzoil yellow, and the body of the car still carries NASTRAK colours as well.
Thank you NASTRAK for not wiping out the layers of paint of the cars therefore allowing tracing to happen, just wish somebody wrote it all down.
Martin Bretherton made a short video on his love of NASCAR and shows a couple of photos from NASTRAK including photos of the #4 Pontiac that we believe is the above-mentioned #55.
You even see the #98 Buick in there, that one was brought by Walter Giles, the chassis was given a Lumina body in 1994 and is believed to have been turned into a Pontiac afterwards like when teams scrambled to change to newer models.

Sadly, the NASTRAK photos did not include the Oldsmobile that we’ve been hunting for, if you have any early years NASTRAK photos showing an Oldsmobile, please let us know, chances are it is the car we’re looking for.

The pink is a source of great frustration, does it represent a team or is it something as simple as an undercoat? Somebody on the planet must know of a pink painted chassis and inner car body.
That’s it for this week’s edition of ASCN, we hope that you enjoyed this edition.
See you next week.
