As mentioned in Aussie Stock Car News Edition #63, Richard White Racing (RWR) is going to Adelaide next year to participate in the 2025 edition of the Adelaide Motorsport Festival that will be held on March 8 and 9.

It is going to be a great two days for Motorsport fans as fans will be seeing all kinds of vehicles at Victoria Park in Adelaide from ex-Formula 1 cars to Porsches, Motorbikes and more.

The good news is that the Adelaide Motorsport Festival should be a month to six weeks before the 2025 Australian Stock Car Championship season gets underway allowing plenty of time to go to the AMF, enthral the people and then come back home to get ready for Round 1.

For those who don’t know about the cars, the #3 Lumina is a Dale Earnhardt tribute car, its origins are currently uncertain as regular readers know, but it was owned by George Elliot, and it had served as a ride car for both Brad Jones and Kim Jane logging hundreds if not thousands of laps of the Thunderdome in the 1990s.

The car then spent quite some time parked at Calder Park before being brought by Matt Czerny, it was then sold to Brett Baker in Queensland where it first received the #3 number and its livery before being sold to Ray Skeggs in Tasmania who ran the car for a couple of years before Richard White brought it and moved it back to Victoria where it entered Stock Cars Australia competition in 2022.

The #8 Monte Carlo is a car that was built for Joe Bessey for his then #60 Winston Cup team in 1999, after the team closed down, it then went into GT1 competition before Graham Booth brought it to Australia where it participated in Stock Car Australia’s first round as the #85 in 2013, Aaron Hills brought the car years later for a brief stint as owner/driver of the car before Richard White brought it and turned it into the Dale Earnhardt Jr #8 Monte Carlo with the car making its RWR debut at Calder Park Raceway in 2023.

The two RWR cars are not expected to be the only Stock Cars there which is a win for those who want to see more of them in South Australia so please stay tuned for future updates.
