There are 21 days to go until Round 4 action hits Calder Park Raceway.
I am already jumpy about the upcoming round, well to be honest, I’ve been jumpy since the schedule came out earlier this year, flying makes me uneasy and unknown variables weigh on the mind and sometimes I talk myself out of things, so I got to keep myself moving to push concerns out of my head.
There’s plenty of people out there from siblings to friends who will make sure that everything happens and happens right, so it is just a matter of crossing out the days.
We still don’t have an online entry list for Calder Park but take a look at Winton’s post, what a big seller it is for Stock Cars Australia, it is true the picture used is a Hyper Racer X1 open wheeler (which are cool) but the message in the post is clear, come see us.
A couple of important bits of information is on the website, Friday practice and the weekend entry are different so if you want to practice on Friday, you got to enter that too.
The website now has ticket options for those who want to get their tickets online, $32.41 will get you in both days, it is probably best to buy at the gate and save $2.41.
Now we have some news on the #5 Monte Carlo that Richard White has, you won’t be seeing this car for a while, but the car’s Penske Racing Shocks have been rebuilt as the car inches its way towards running capability, this car was also the #7 driven by Barry Blake and almost bagged a couple of wins in V8 Stock Cars.

The above was taken in our most recent push to uncover the history of the #3 Lumina, the #5 is there with its hood up as we’re looking through the right rear window of the #3 Lumina.
No progress has been made on the history of the #3, sorry to those hoping we’d have a resolution, but this car sure did fall through the cracks of history and we’re getting our hands on every scrap of info to figure it all out.
That’s it for the news, sorry it is a little light on material, but things are picking up and soon we’ll have plenty to say.
Stay tuned.
