There are 21 days to go until the action gets underway at Queensland Raceway.

Hopes are high for a good field, coming up to Queensland is a logistical and expense challenge but hopefully drivers from New South Wales and Victoria will be joined by drivers from Queensland, we know there are a couple of OzTrucks around and hopefully somebody has a running Stock Car, AUSCAR or GTA hiding somewhere in the state, it is a big enough state to hide plenty of them in.

Don’t forget Stock Cars Australia does have a Muscle Division (or an OzTruck etc.), contact Zac at Stock Cars Australia if you’re interested in joining the fun whether its Stock Cars or Muscle Division, there have been cars like the VT Commodore and the XE Falcon running in MD to give you an idea of cars that have run in the division.

Hi-Tec Oils Super Series have opened up the online entry option for the round, you can find it here, it looks like we have to wait a bit to find out the first couple of entries, SCA is always quick to the ball with entries, so it is just a matter of the Super Series updating the list.

The #1 Pontiac made a reappearance in NASCAR Australia group this week; it actually was mentioned with a photo or two in the comments of another post a few weeks ago but this week the car was shown in its entirety, it has a long way to go before it is back on a track somewhere, but it is always good to see another Stock Car.

There’s a number of Pontiacs being restored at the moment, it will be interesting to see which one makes it on to the track first, can’t wait for the day a Pontiac joins Ford and Chevrolet in the Stock Car contingent.

Work continues on updates to ASCN, Roy Ellery has been showing me some concept art which suited what I had in mind but couldn’t put it into reality as I am a blogger (amateur one) not an artist and so hopefully soon, we’ll have the finished product.

That’s the news for this week, another good week and next week will be bigger as we’ll have entries to announce and more.
