It looks like a VT Commodore may be joining the field at SMP with Michael Rice expressing an interest, if that happens to be the case then Michael has made the right choice in categories.

SCA had ‘Stock Car Shed Time’ last Saturday, you could see Zac’s two Stock Cars (well the closest to running two, he’s got more in the pipeline), Scott Nind’s two Stock Cars, Brett’s OzTruck and Robert’s OzTruck.

Don’t forget that there will be a Calder Park Thunderdome Drive Day on March 23 hosted by Drive Events Pty Ltd., interested people should book their spot as soon as possible and remember to please drive safely.

The Oldsmobile mystery is closer to being solved, the car that spent time going down the flats previously belonged to Paul Stocker, it also has a rich history with Robin Best driving it before Paul but there are holes in the history that still need to be filled in.

Paul Stocker’s other car still races, it is the #9 of Scott Pierce, while it has been said it was a Monte Carlo in the past, it has also been reported as an Oldsmobile which caused a bit of head scratching but it appears that the former is the correct story.

While the subject of car identification has been going on, a new project has started on ASCN and that is collecting all the car ID sticker details, so far, we got five of them and a sixth (the Oldsmobile) has faded numbers so we’re not sure on the exact numbers (could be 060 or 066 by the looks).
