The third round of the season was held at Sydney Motorsport Park last week, what we learned from the round is that Scott Nind has a new and faster car, the OzTruck competition is closer than ever before, Brett Mitchell can really slide an OzTruck around a track and Josh Hourigan had a race comeback for the ages.

If you missed the online broadcast last week, don’t worry because should be able to watch Race 3 and Race 4 by clicking on the links and it will take you there, if it does not go to 1hr 47mins and 4hrs and 30mins on the video to catch the action.

There is a possibility that MotorsportsTV will cut up their video and the two races will be in the one package soon, we’ll keep an eye on that for you.

There’s no question that Scott Nind’s Ford Mustang is one beautiful machine, hopefully it is an inspiring car too as people may see it and decide that they want a Ford Mustang for themselves or perhaps they want the best from Chevrolet or Toyota or go a bit back and want to own a Dodge.

There’s a nice mix of vehicles for sale at the moment but always be aware that some ads do not get taken down after a sale so look around to confirm availability of the vehicle of your dreams.

We have a bit of a wait before the last round of the season but the silver lining of having a month or two between rounds is that everybody has a greater chance of repairing their vehicles without missing a round.

There is a lot to look forward to in the last round of the season, it is likely the AUSCAR numbers will get a boost, a couple of Stock Cars are in line to make returns and it should be a great end to a wonderful year.

Cole Davis is making good progress with the #77 AUSCAR, out of all those cars that were sitting in the paddock at Winton, #77 looked to be one of the toughest ones to put back together but Cole is doing a wonderful job giving it a new life.

Thank you for taking the time to read the latest going happenings in the Australian Stock Car world.

Fast Fact: In the game NASCAR Racing, you could change the drivers’ names by altering the file that stored the names, personally I used to stick my friends’ names in there to see if I could beat them.
