We are now 21 days away from seeing action at Sydney Motorsport Park, it is always exciting when a round is less than a month away from happening.
Laurie Mckinnon is entrant No. 4 in the #82 Ford Falcon joining Brett Mitchell, Scott Nind and Robert Marchese as the other three to put their entries in so far, entries can be put in from here, double digit entries are expected for SMP.
The #25 Ford Thunderbird is not coming as it ran a donor engine at Calder Park, the good news is that an engine is being prepared for the great looking Thunderbird and we hope to see the #25 back in action soon.
Brad Hall shown a picture of the former #02 Sportsman of Tony Howlett getting fired up on AUSCAR Racing, we look forward to seeing more in the future as it is very intriguing.
There’s a new Calder Park drone video on YouTube and we have to say the place looks better every time something new is shown, the place has come a long way in the last year.

While counting down the days until SMP, work is well underway at home to put all Stock Car stuff in one spot, photo prints from Calder Park should arrive next week to stick up on the wall and a spare Matchbox model of the #25 is somewhere around the house as well as other bits and pieces, nothing too flash.
The Brett Mitchell poster looks mighty fine and other competitors should think about making some too because vehicle posters just make a wall look better.
Tex Lindner’s latest iRacing work is the #28 of Gary Collins, Gary’s Oldsmobile Delta 88 was running well until the car got caught up in the big wreck and was out for the day.
Here’s something that might be new to people, there was a such thing as ‘Try Hugs Not Drugs’, wonder how it panned out?
Now for a public service reminder, all competitors and travelling spectators will have to do their referendum vote early as the round at SMP takes place at the same time, the options are voting early or getting a postal vote.
Thank you for taking the time to read the latest going happenings in the Australian Stock Car world.
Fast Fact: Rodney Jane signed the #7 AUSCAR during a break in the Sunday exhibition laps at Calder Park Thunderdome.
