We are now 28 days away from seeing action at Sydney Motorsport Park, it is always exciting when a round is less than a month away from happening.

Robert Marchese is entrant No. 3 in the #84 Chevrolet Silverado joining Brett Mitchell and Scott Nind as the other two to put their entries in, entries can be put in from here, do not be alarmed by the low numbers as most put their entries in from two weeks to go.

The round at SMP is a Hi-Tec Oils Super Series round so that hopefully means that at least one of the races will be streamed and one will be on TV, it is always fun to see them on a TV screen though in person is always preferable.

Those categories who get the early slots on a Sunday seem to miss out on streaming so hopefully Stock Cars Australia gets their races down the order instead of the first or second race of the day.

Are you looking to own a rolling shell of a 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix to build up and then race in Stock Cars Australia? For $7500 you can get the above front steer one with an equal front end, a seat, shocks and a spare set of wheels, find out more right here.

There are so many Stock Cars around at this present time in various stages of restoration, always remember that if you need a part, say something at places like AUSCAR Racing and Stock Cars Australia etc. because somebody may have the part you need to buy or they may know somebody who does have what you seek, great things happen from working together.

Brad Hall put some Ford Falcon bits up for sale on AUSCAR Racing which may come in handy for those restoring the XF Falcon’s that ran around the Thunderdome and other tracks in the early years of AUSCAR.

Last week we shown a picture of the business end of the #25 Ford Thunderbird, this time we show the business end of the #27 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, this picture was taken when the car was on display at Calder Park, the engine was later nice enough to give Zac two runs of the Thunderdome over the weekend and the last race on Sunday.

Thank you for taking the time to read the latest going happenings in the Australian Stock Car world.

Fast Fact: Summer Mcknight’s #83 is one of the cars that has been recreated for iRacing use by Tex Lindner, the real thing finished fifth in the first race at the Thunderdome.
