We’re back with a new edition of Aussie Stock Car News.

There was no edition last week as the last Friday was spent either in a car, on a plane or on a bus going from Queensland to Victoria to New South Wales as part of the journey to get to Calder Park.

There are now fifteen days to go until the racing action gets underway at Calder Park Raceway.

Zac has pulled off something special, permission has been granted for parade laps to take place at the Thunderdome during the weekend of the round at the Raceway.

Stock Cars going around the Thunderdome, sure they aren’t racing but the fact that Stock Cars will be parading around the track is something that for many years was considered at best to be wishful thinking.

There’s plenty to look forward to on August 12-13 for also on the bill are the following series;

Victorian Formula Racing Series

Victorian Super TT

Victorian Excel Trophy Series

Victorian Excel Masters Series

2 Litre Sports Sedan

It is an action packed round of action and we’re all hoping for no rain to rain on our parade especially with all the time Zac spent on making this round happen.

Thank you for taking the time to read the latest going happenings in the Australian Stock Car world.

Fast Fact: The #3 Lumina of Richard White was previously known as being called George.
