Marcos Ambrose

Marcos Ambrose ran two full seasons and five-part seasons between 2007 and 2014.

Marcos finished eighth in the 2007 season for Wood Brothers/JTG Daugherty Racing and 10th for JTG Daugherty Racing in the 2008 season.

Marcos was King of Watkins Glen by winning three races in a row at the famous road course and won a fourth a few years later, he also won a race in Montreal.

Bad luck prevented him from winning a couple more races in Canada such as the clash with Robby Gordon as the two spun each other out of the lead and a last corner mistake allowed Carl Edwards to sneak through for the win.

Kenny Habul (15 races 2012-2016)

Kenny ran in fifteen races in the series with his best finish being 14th, a result that he had achieved twice.

Kenny is known for his JGR Toyota catching fire after a crash and remarking in an interview that he would have a Scotch afterwards.

James Davison (6 races 2016-2022)

James raced in six Xfinity races from 2016 to 2022 with his best finish being 4th twice for Joe Gibbs Racing with those finishes coming at Mid-Ohio and Charlotte.

Owen Kelly (5 races 2010-2016)

Owen Kelly made his debut in 2010 with Baker Curb Racing and finished fifth in the #27 Ford Fusion.

Owen filled in for Marcos Ambrose in the lead up to the 2011 race in Montreal and had done the same duties for Kyle Busch in 2012.

Joe Gibbs Racing was Owen’s next stop and he finished fourth at Road America and 23rd at Mid-Ohio.

Owen’s last two races were in 2016 for Joe Gibbs Racing with 16th and 17th place finishes in the #18 Toyota.

Scott Saunders – (3 races in 2012)

Scott Saunders raced three Xfinity Series races in 2012; he made his debut for Jason Sciavicco in the #24 Chevrolet at Iowa and finished in 28th position.

Scott then raced twice for Randy Hill in the #08 Ford, his run at Kansas ended after 31 laps to finish 34th and he finished 32nd at Texas.

Scott’s three races is the less known run by an Australian in the Xfinity Series, and it was the pending arrival of Jack Perkins in the series that Scott’s run was recalled by V8 Sleuth.

Jack Perkins – (2 races in 2025)

Jack made his debut driving the #19 Toyota Supra at Chicago for Joe Gibbs Racing, Jack qualified fifth and finished in 32nd place, four laps down on winner Shane Van Gisbergen after being spun in the wall on Lap 5 at Turn 6.

Jack raced at Portland and ran as high as third position with a few laps remaining when a mistake at Turn 11 put him onto the grass and the car was bogged facing a wall, Jack finished in 31st position.

Will Brown – (1 race in 2025)

Will Brown had a difficult debut in the Xfinity Series at Portland, a gearbox change put the #11 at the back of the field for the race, Will started to make his way up the field, but his race was ended by a broken track bar mount and finished 35th.
