When you think of Chaz Mostert, you would think of his career Supercars namely his two Bathurst 1000 wins, his success with Ford starting with DJR before moving on the #6 Ford with Tickford and then moving on to Holden to drive the #25 with Walkinshaw Andretti United (easier said as WAU) where he picked up his second Bathurst 1000 with Lee Holdsworth.
Before all of that happened, Chaz was driving among other things an OzTruck at Queensland Raceway for Wayne Miles in the iRace Touring Car series.
Driving the #88, Chaz won his first race in an OzTruck 1-2 finish with Graeme Struber, Chaz then won Race 2 from Troy Adams and Derrick Hocking in an Evo IX and a Holden Commodore.
Race 3 and 4 delivered Chaz finishes of third and second ensuring that he was on the podium for all four of the races.
As far as records go, that was the last time that Chaz drove an OzTruck in competition and as for OzTrucks themselves, they soon raced in bigger numbers and now the majority of the Oztrucks now race in Stock Cars Australia across NSW and Victoria.
