Peter Brock Classic – 1995

November 19 2019

Peter Brock raced in AUSCAR twice, the first time was in a Ford and he was actually winning the race when his car decided to spew water everywhere and ended his oval racing career.

The second time was at the Peter Brock Classic in 1995 where he drove a VR Commodore in the 20 lap race on a bill that featured the V8’s and the Super Tourers that featured from AUSCAR champion Brad Jones.

Steven Richards was on Pole after clocking a 46.155 second lap though the Channel Nine graphic had Terry Wyhoon with a faster lap for some reason.

Robert Burns in the #20 saw his race end after a few corners as his engine let go.

John Faulkner was turned around after starting third in the race but was able to get going.

Marshall Brewer pulled off the race track with a mechanical issue and a couple of laps later Mark Seaton pulled off the track too with smoke pouring from his Ford.

Peter Brock went off the track with 3 laps remaining but managed to get back on the circuit and kept going.

Terry Wyhoon won the race comfortably from Steven Richards with Matthew White third.

John Faulkner finished fourth after recovering from his Lap 1 spin and Peter Brock managed to finished sixth despite his off track excursion.
