Yesterday was an interesting day for AUSCAR and NASCAR fans.
First piece of news was that a 1988 Thunderdome commercial was spotted on YouTube and hundreds of fans got to see Dick Howe rolling his AUSCAR and then standing up where his windscreen used to be afterwards.
Most fans had heard about the roll and many have seen pictures but fewer got to see it on video and now they have.
The second piece of news is that #55 is coming back to life, that’s right George Elliot’s #55 is being restored and everyone is wondering where it is going to go, a Museum? Stock Cars Australia? Car Shows?
It is excellent to get NASCAR or AUSCAR news in December, a time at least in the USA where news is scarce but we delightfully take it.
