Tony Southwell once made a sponsorship (investment) video for his racing team (TSR) and the two minute and thirty-nine second ad can be considered a treasure trove for information.
Sprinkled through the video that also contains footage from Days of Thunder is footage from the Thunderdome and the Power Tour for example you will see Andrew Miedecke, Mark Harrison, George Elliot and more in action and to top it all off you will see the finish of the last Stock Car race on the Calder Park flat track.
That finish is known for TSR finishing 1-2 with Rodney Crick about one and a half car lengths behind Tony.
So watch carefully as there may be action you’ve never seen before and add to your Australian Stock Car experience.
