Here is a look at some of the Ford Stock Cars that have been raced in Australia from 1988 all the way to 2024.

Ford won one championship in the Bob Jane era and that was Robin Best in 1990/91, and Scott Nind won the Stock Cars Australia title in 2023.

Dick Johnson – 1988 Ford Thunderbird

Robin Best – 1992 Ford Thunderbird

Neville Lance – 1994 Ford Thunderbird

Charlie O’Brien – 1994 Ford Thunderbird

Gene Cook – 1997

Terry Wyhoon – 1998 Ford Thunderbird

Terry’s 1997 Thunderbird was described to have a 358 cubic inch engine giving 670 horsepower and a top speed of 315km/h.
