Although this was originally a blog for AUSCAR, lots of people like their Australian NASCAR too so here is a list of drivers who raced in competition in Australian NASCAR and then the Australian Super Speedway Championship and V8 Stock Cars.
This is a list that will be updated over time so if a driver isn’t listed they will be in time.
Clicking on the linked numbers will mostly send you to either Calder Park Thunderdome or AUSCAR Racing pages/groups where photos of linked cars are, both are the leading sites for AUSCAR/NASCAR history in Australia.
Some links are from Peter Weaver Motorsport Photography who has a mixture of photos from cars going through their paces to pictures of cars before, during and after being wadded up.
Other pictures have come from YouTube videos, programs, trading cards and the 1994/95 season guide.

Did not know so many american drivers raced down under. Were they one off deals or multipal races? And please update driver photo list……

Some raced only once, some returned for the Australia vs USA races and some like Kevin Schwantz raced for a couple of years before trying his hand at what is now called the Xfinity Series.
The photo list has pretty much run its course for now but when more material is found, it is added.

Barry Graham was my mentor and my biggest mistake. Because of him and Max Dumesny my racing costs soared! Barry’s hospitality when I went down under to see the Indy Cars at Surfers, was much appreciated. I will never forget him, great person and so bloody laid back, lol…Tom Fuller #69
